The Tram was put in assistance in 1992 on conventional gauge monitor with modern-day cars, connecting Sirkeci with Topkapi. The line was extended on a single close from Topkapi to Zeytinburnu in March 1994 and, on another finish from Sirkeci to Eminönü in April 1996.
